*तुर्की में यानी सोमवार सुबह 7.8 तीव्रता का भूकंप आने से हाहाकार मच गया। भूकंप इतना खतरनाक था कि इसका असर सीरिया, लेबनान और इजराइल में भी महसूस किए गए।*

*तुर्की में सबसे प्रभावित शहरो में राजधानी अंकारा, नूरदगी समेत 10 शहर रहे। अधिकारियों के मुताबिक तुर्की में अब तक 1498 लोगों की मौत की पुष्टि हुई है और हजारों लोगों के घायल होने की खबर है।*

वहीं, सीरिया में 810 लोग मारे गए हैं। इस तरह दोनों जगह कुल मिलाकर करीब 2300 लोगों के मारे जाने की खबर है। यूएस जियोलॉजिकल सर्वे के मुताबिक, भूकंप का केंद्र गाजियांटेप से लगभग 33 किलोमीटर (20 मील) और नूरदगी शहर से लगभग 26 किलोमीटर (16 मील) दूर था। यह 18 किलोमीटर (11 मील) की गहराई पर केंद्रित था। डेनिश भूवैज्ञानिक संस्थान का कहना है कि तुर्की में भूकंप के झटके ग्रीनलैंड तक महसूस किए गए हैं। विज्ञापन भूकंप के झटके इतने तेज थे कि कई इमारतों को नुकसान पहुंचने की खबरें आई हैं। तुर्की के राष्ट्रपति रेसेप तईप एर्दोगन ने ट्विटर पर कहा कि भूकंप से प्रभावित क्षेत्रों में खोज और बचाव दलों को तुरंत भेजा गया। हमें उम्मीद है कि हम इस आपदा को एक साथ जल्द से जल्द और कम से कम नुकसान के साथ पार कर लेंगे। विज्ञापन विज्ञापन तुर्की में दोबारा भूकंप के तेज झटके महसूस किए गए। इस बार रिक्टर पैमाने पर तीव्रता 7.5 मापी गई। भूकंप के झटके भारतीय समयानुसार तीन बजकर 54 मिनट पर महसूस किए गए। इसका केंद्र अंकारा से 427 किलोमीटर दूर जमीन से 10 किमी. अंदर था।
