पांवटा साहिब के वार्ड नंबर 5 में पिछले 3 दिनों से एक कौआ पीपल की ऊंची डाल पर जिंदगी और मौत के बीच लटका हुआ था जिस का रैस्क्यू फायर विभाग और फोरेस्ट के लोगों ने किया।
इस बारे में जानकारी देते हुए समाज सेवी और भीम आर्मी के उपाध्यक्ष अमित कुमार निवासी वार्ड नंबर 7 ने बताया कि कल उनकी नजर एक पेड़ पर पढ़ी जिस पर पिछले 3 दिन से एक कौआ एक डोर से फस कर लटका हुआ है पहले तो लगा कि कोआ डोर में फस कर मर गया लेकिन कुछ देर देखने के बाद मुझे लगा कि कोआ जिंदा है।
तभी मेंने तुरंत फायर ब्रिगेड के 101 हेल्पलाइन पर कॉल की ओर फ़ायर बिर्गेड के कर्मचारी मोके पर पहुंचे जयपाल शर्मा, जोगिंदर सिंह, जोगी राम, चालक सुरेश कुमार फ़ायर ब्रिगेड के कर्मचारियों ने लगभग 3 घण्टे की कड़ी मशक्कत के बाद रात हो जाने के कारण कोए को रेस्क्यू नही किया जा सका। जिसके बाद आज शनिवार को कौए को रेस्क्यू कर लिया गया है आज सुबह 6 बजे फ़ायर बिर्गेड की टीम मौके पर पहूंची ओर रेस्क्यू शुरू किया ओर 8:30 बजे इस कौए को रेस्क्यू कर के फॉरेस्ट विभाग के कर्मचारी दीप राम शर्मा को कौआ सोप दिया गया दिप राम शर्मा ने फॉरेस्ट डिपू गोंदपुर में कौए का ईलाज शुरू कर दिया।
वहीं वार्ड नंबर सात के अमित कुमार और उनके आसपास के लोगों ने दिल की गहराइयों से फायर ब्रिगेड की टीम का धन्यवाद किया है। जिन्होंने एक बेजुबान पक्षी के लिए अपनी जान को दांव पर लगाया यह गोवा लगभग 50 फीट की ऊंचाई पर यानी लगभग 4 मंजिल की ऊंचाई पर एक पेड़ पर फंसा हुआ था।

वही एक कोए के लिए अपनी जान जोखिम में डालने वाले फायर बिर्गेड के कर्मी हरिशरण ने अपनी जान को जोखिम में डाल कर पेड़ पर चढ़कर बहुत कड़ी मशक्कत से कौए को बचाया है लोगों ने कहा उनके हक का सम्मान मिलना चाहिए जब यह एक बेजुबान पक्षी के लिए अपनी जान खतरे में डाल सकते हैं तो इंसान के लिए किस हद तक जा सकते हैं इसी सोच के साथ स्थानीय लोगों ने SDM पोंटा से अपील करता हुए कहा कि फ़ायर बिर्गेड की टीम को 15 अगस्त के रोज सम्मानित किया जाना चाहिए।
